#70931 Play Angelique Special for Free Legally

Posted by tentsubasa on 15 February 2014 - 05:42 PM

Hello!  I'm not sure if anyone already knew this or not, but apparently you can play Angeqlique Special for free online through GameCity!  They have this thing called the Classic Game Hall, where you can play older games that they've adapted for playing in your web browser: http://my.gamecity.n...eclassic/search

To use the Classic Game Hall, you need a GameCity user account, which is free and very easy to sign up for.  Then, after that, you've got a couple of options to unlock the games in the Classic Game Hall.  You can either sign up for a GameCity Premium account, which costs money but unlocks all of the games, or you can buy each game for 500 yen.

Yeah, I know; doesn't sound very free, but!  The thing is, you can use GameCity coins (GC coins) to pay that 500 yen fee, and it's very easy to get 500 GC coins for free even if it takes a little time.

- 100 GC coins for creating a new account

- 1, 3, or 5 GC coins every day you log in

- 10, 30, or 50 GC coins on the 5th, 10th, and 15th time you log in within a given month

- 100 GC coins for the 20th time you log in within a given month

The way you get your daily GC coins is through this stamp calendar thing they have.  You click on the calendar, they pop up treasure chests for you to choose from, and you get coins based on what was in the chest and then you accept them on the stamp calendar.  It takes like 5 seconds to do, so it doesn't take much time investment.

By using this system, even if you always pick 1s and 10s, then you'll have 500 GC coins in less than 3 months and will be able to play Angelique Special. Pretty cool?

Apparently, now it's just free.  You can play it so long as you have a GameCity account.  Whoo-hoo!

#70653 Angeliqe Anime/OVA List

Posted by tentsubasa on 23 September 2013 - 05:26 PM

I've been watching the Neoromance Live and Festa events recently, and it's piqued my interest a bit in Angelique and Neo Angelique (by the way, are these two different things or is it just that Neo Angelique is an extension of Angelique?).

I looked around on Wikipedia for a list of anime/OVA series that were produced for this and came up with the following:

Angelique: Shiroi Tsubasa no Memoir (2000, 2 episodes)

Angelique: Seichi yori Ai wo Komete (2001, 3 episodes)

Angelique Twin Collection (2002, 8 episodes)

Angelique (2004, 3 episodes)

Koi suru Tenshi Angelique: Kokoro no Mezameru Toki (2006, 13 episodes)

Koi suru Tenshi Angelique ~ Kagayaki no Ashita ~ (2007, 12 episodes)

Neo Angelique Abyss (2008, 13 episodes)

Neo Angelique Abyss - Second Age (2008, 13 episodes)

A few questions.

1) Is this list complete?

2) Is there a recommended order that these should be watched in besides chronological for someone who has never played any of the games?

3) Koi suru Tenshi Angelique and Neo Angelique Abyss are listed as spin-offs in the Wikipedia article.  Do they have much to do with the OVAs/each other?

Thank you in advance. :)

I almost feel silly making a whole thread for Hoshi-san (a.k.a. Ten no Genbu/Eisen/Minamoto no Motomi/Taira no Atsumori) just to ask one question, but oh well. f(^^; )

So I've been watching the live events recently, and there's something that I can't help but wonder about: what is the story behind puppy/pappi/パッピー?  He seriously says it all the time. XD It's like his signature greeting line or something. XD How did this come to be?  It's so random. XD
