K, so I finally got Izayoiki and am playing it, and it's nice that you can get different endings for all the hachiyou, but I think the only real point to get this game is for Shirogane. The new hachiyou CGs aren't that nice...although I'm only judging based on Yuzuru's so far. And the ending was pretty cheesy, on the boat when they were trying to stop the storm by thinking of their loved ones, I LOL'd - especially when it didn't work...

Although some of the extra dialogue/plot is interesting/cute, so I'll eventually play through them all, but the new CGs...so far I'm not impressed.

well, Izayoiki is a fan disc. The main reason it was created is because like you said, for Shirogane, and then of course, for the ultimate Tomomori. XD

I agree with you the Hachiyo Cgs were kind of cheap, but you might like Benkei's Izayoiki route. Once again, it's sad...

But if you play it with the mix joy, and then replay all the hachiyo normal route, the CGs and most of all, anime incident quality improves alot. Most of all, the Tomomori storyline is the best, totally worth buying the fan disc for!!

What about "Unmei no Meikyuu"? Was that worth getting?

In my opinion, Unmei no Meikyuu and Izayoiki are both definitely worth getting. I think Unmei no Meikyuu has some of the best CGs.

Yeah, I've had Meikyuu for a while and played it through totally - one thing about Meikyuu is that throughout the labyrinth you find treasure boxes containing memories from #3 and Izayoiki - so from the title screen you can re-experience scenes from all 3 titles.

Meikyuu is also a separate storyline, plus, hachiyou in modern clothes = teh hawt :grin:

I don't regret getting Izayoiki, but I think I'll go for Shirogane and Tomomori first and then just get the hachiyou again if I feel bored :wink: Since I already have spent many many hours going through all the routes with them in #3.

Many people said Benkei's route in Izayoiki is better than his route in the main story. I think it is because Benkei's storyline in Izayoiki is related to the real life historic Benkei legend. The famous "Benkei" Story.

I wouldnt spoil it for you, but yes, when I saw how Benkei's route was going in Izatoiki, I was like, "Yes! This is the Benkei we all know from history!! So if you are curious on what happened to Yoshitsune (kurou) and Benkei in real life, you can always look up wiki XD

People also commented that Masaomi's route in Izayoiki was better because it was not a cliched Romeo and Juliet scenario. But I agree with you, Yuzuru's Izayoiki event was == for me.

Seconded XD Which means yes, even if I told myself to start with the hachiyo, once I got the first event with the 'mistery man' I couldn't help but go on with him =w= Now on my way to get the ultimate sexyness XD

But I have a technical question, am I doing something wrong or it's normal to do the MixJoy thing everytime I turn on the game? It's a bit annoying...

it is normal. So to get everybody's ending including Tomomori, you need to do the mix joy everytime you turn it on. Yes, very annoying...==

with the izayoiki disc itself, you can only get kurou and ..Masaomi's izayoiki ending. And yes, this is KOEI's way of making people buy both games....>.>

Yes, I finished Shirogane. Made me want to give him a hug in different points of the story >_< Since I went for him without expectations but only to get the ultimate Tomomori, I was surprised at his storyline and made me all "poor poor Shirogane, bad bad Masako-sama"

you went to find Tomomori the night before the peace treaty and then saw Shigehira (Shirogane) with Tomomori, but Tomomori was bored with you and dump you to be with Shirogane?

well, you are not the wood element right? As long as you are not, then it wont be so hard for you to defeat Tomomori for the ending. Because as you know gold kills wood, so Tomomori always managed to kill me before I could get him to stop and look at me T_T

...after that I go on with the 'ultimate ending' when everyone goes in the same world as Nozomi. So I guess my bond is too low but I really don't know how to understand if I'm ready for his ending. Guide says "max your bond with him" and I'm like "huh? as if I can check my bond with him ==;;" I think I had 30 fights or so after getting his combo, spamming his combo in all of them, but still nothing...

I'm earth, so at least he shouldn't one-shot me ^^;;;

So I kept killing onryo together with Tomomori and when I think after the 4th attempt where Tomomori actually did not dump me to be with Shirogane, I was dancing in joy! Then he killed me 4 times after that...==

Seriously, Tomomori is WTF-ish hard to get but TOTALLY worth it.

And Shirogane'ss route is so complicated, first go here to get Hinoe's event in Chapter 4, then go back to Chapter 2, blah blah blah... :? I'm using the Otome Wiki guide, and some parts aren't very clear...I have to go slowly, I hope I can finish this weekend.

But now having gotten Yuzuru's ending already, everyone is pretty powered up :D Battles are easy.

For Shirogane, I found this guide to be more clear up to chapter 5 first round, after that I went back to Peche

yes, I personally find the guide in neoromance.info the best. Just follow chapter by chapter under the character catergory and you will be fine.

I cant believe you still havent gotten Tomomori to fall in love with you! I would recommend that you go back to play chapter 3 where you meet him at 生田 ikuta for the battle. There you get to talk to him and make choices to get green stars. I read on the guide, it is recommended to play that chapter twice so you could get 6 green stars in total.
