Actually since you gave me the advice of what to do with the 4th selection I have never had a problem with it and have always won. The problem I find is again trying to build the rivalry up. I'm currently trying to go after Yunoki-senpai but his rivalry just refuses to go up no matter how much I try to perform to get BP for him. Have you tried to win Yunoki-senpai and if so do you recall how much BP you had as I'm finding it extremely tough.

To get rivalry from Yunoki-senpai from BP, you have to had 3000 BP at least and perform to him. In the site also said if you have 15000 BP and perform to him, he'll give you 500 rivalry points. - -... [he's really scary...] And if you do well in the selection, his rivalry also raise too.
I was one trying to get one still that his rivalry mustn't be high but i forgot about my BP. When i performed to him, his rivalry raised... TT-TT then i couldn't get the still. I was very sad...

But I'm not sure if the recommend pieces are just for winning the competitions. Doesn't the song you chose also affect the guy's rival and love affections as well?

I think the song recommend in this site [Oh~ I'm using this site too~!] is only for win the competitions.
But the song you selected to play in the selection also effect the boy's effection. When you perform thier favourite arrangement, they'll be surprised. This also work even they will perform next to you, unlike the dress that doesn't work if the target will perform after you.

Are the books the only items you can buy that will help you increase your skills? It seems there are other things at the fairy store, but have no idea what most of them are for (except for the dresses)....

There're 4 types of item, presents, skill books, dress and accessories, and practice items. [From left to right]

Tip is if you see a heart beside the price, that price is sales price. But if you see an angry face, the price is higher than usual.
The price is depend on the owner's. And the shop owner will be the fairy of the newest song that you can play it best each selection. [For example ,in 2nd selection, the fairy of the new song you get and you play it best will be next shop's owner.]
Posted Image
These are present boxes. You can know what's inside by reading the name only. The way it wrapped is only show you the prices.
For example box with 銀のスプーン is Silver spoon for Yunoki-senpai. And box with ハンカチ is a handkerchief for Tsukimori.
Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
These're dress and accessories. There're 3 kinds, dresses, accessories and hair ornaments.
Posted Image
This is skill book. You'll know what's skill by looking at the name only.
For example, the book with テヌートの本 is for skill named テヌート. Or デタシェの本 is for skill named デタシェ.
And practice items are...

Actually, may Japanese friend found the link and unfortunately I forgot to book mark it. She was trying to help me out (but even as a Japanese person, she was confused over the instructions of this game!). Here's another link though that has a walkthrough, but it's all my Japanese. My Japanese reading skills are low, but I think there are recommended pieces though for each theme. http://www5e.biglobe...a_ps2/all_5.htm

But I'm not sure if the recommend pieces are just for winning the competitions. Doesn't the song you chose also affect the guy's rival and love affections as well?

Thank you so much for that site. I lost that site and have been trying to find it for ages now since it had a brilliant walkthrough of one of my other favorite game series (Hoshi no Oujo).

Looking at the site churasan gave me I actually got the best ending for Yunoki-senpai despite having hardly any rivalry with him. On the day before the final selection I only had 2 of the rivalry meter bars filled up. The ending picture I got of him was Yunoki-senpai playing the flute and when I looked in the "My Memory" gallery all the endings I got so far were the date ones (街へ出よう) but when I got Yunoki's ending it was different (珠玉の時間 which I'm guessing is the best ending).

If you play a selection that one of the guys like instead of a selection that fits the theme more, is it more likely you won't win? But if you get all the keywords, max out the manuscripts, and gain the skills, can you still win?

Thank you for putting up more info about all the items. It helped me a lot with my skills! I actually used my items this time and was able to win the second selection! However, I think my chances of romance is low cuz all I do is practice so much! The third selection looks like it is going to be a tough one too (I haven't started yet...) But, right now I'm focusing on the actual music gameplay, then I'll start going after one of the guy characters when I start a new game.

Yes. The 珠玉の時間 is the best ending. [And Yunoki-senpai is strangely sweet~ XD]

If you choose the song by the boy's like with out keywords, you can't win the selection. But sometimes the songs that boys like have enough keywords for the selection.

My play style is mainly aiming on bravo points to buy items ,both for musical skills and for getting boys' attention. Unlike kaho-san, i uses bravo points to buy gifts for boys to get their effection too. And i always takes few minute to stop and get short event or conversation with them. But once i play, i'll concentrate on only one boy. So i can control both boys and the selection.
Well, it's my playstyle. I don't know if this can help you or not.

I had some of the problems you are having when I started playing the game. Here are a few tips:

1. Ignore the songs that a guy likes. It's totally unnecessary. Always play a song that has 2 keywords and fits the theme. If a guy likes it than it should be purely coincidental. I got Yunoki-senpai, Tsuchiura Ryotaro and Shimizu Keiichi's best endings and out of all those three the only one where I found their favorite song was Tsuchiura as it was coincidentally the song I was using for the selection. I still don't know what Yunoki's and Shimizu's are. I know they are listed on the Japanese walkthrough you gave but as I said they aren't needed and you can easily win the game without them.

2. The best way to raise affection as kaho-san said is to keep playing the arrangements (the bit with the red circle) next to the boy you are after. But also like wasseryharp-san said it is a good idea to chat to the boy you are after to get the events as they also greatly raise affection (particularly if it is a CG event). Always chat to the boy you are after at least once a day (I do it usually at the end of the day when I can't practice or do any music arrangements). It's also a good idea to chat to some of the other boys too but only every so often. The reason for doing this is if you get a dream of a boy with a song (it's the scene you get sometimes when you go to sleep) then whatever song you dream of will have it's max stats raised to 150 instead of 100. If you can get the song near to 150 you will win the selection regardless of other stats and the theme (though there are exceptions eg: if a boy declares he is going to prove to you that you should quit playing the violin - Tsukimori Len does this).

3. The most important rule now. Ignore the skills. That's what I do and I have won three of the five main characters in doing this. The skills aren't necessary either unless you are going after Shimizu Keiichi when you need to get them all but if you are not going after him then you don't have to get them all. It is virtually impossible to practice every manuscript for each selection and I guarantee you will have problems for the third and fourth selections simply because there is double the amount of songs. All you need to do is to practice the manuscripts to 100 (or 150 if you have had a dream of the selection) for the song you have chosen. Ignore the other songs. It wastes precious time that you simply do not have.

This is a rough guide of the 3rd selection that I use:

You have 10 days to complete it. You will probably spend the first 3 days running around trying to find all the songs (Ferros) and then the arrangements (Lame). I must stress that it is a good idea to find all the songs and the lames for each selection but once you get them don't use the bell icon for the ones you aren't going to use (again it wastes precious time). I never use the bell icon on the third and fourth selections for songs I'm not using unless I have some free extra time at the end of a day. If you don't find all of the Ferros and Lames on the third selection then you will get very confused during the fourth selection on where certain Ferros and Lames are.

After you have chosen the one you are going for then you might run into a spot of difficulty. The best (and easiest) songs to use on the third selection are the first row (Angelique, Kiniro no Corda and Harukanaru songs) that you get. However if you have not been concentrating on the skills then there will probably be one missing but if you have been concentrating on performing the musical arrangement and earning BP points you should have enough of those to buy the skill you need (wasseryharp-san mentions how to spot which skill you need). Once you have got the arrangement to 100 then practice all the manuscripts for that song to 100 as well. This should be enough for you to win the third selection and if you get a dream of one of the arrangements for that song (and it has 2 keywords) then keep performing it until it is at 150 or near it (items can help here).

Doing all of the above usually takes around another 4 - 5 days which can leave you with 1 - 2 days extra which is a good time to perform arrangements (even if it is 100 peform it a couple of times to get BP points - you will need them for the fourth selection to buy more skills). Also you might want to practice a manuscript to 100 (if it is near 100 that is) and get a free skill instead of buying it. You can see what manuscripts have which skill in the song menu.

I hope that helps. I made the mistake of always practicing the manuscripts too but it's too time consuming and ultimately pointless since you only need to concentrate on the manuscripts for the song you have chosen for the selection. All the manuscripts do is help get skills.

More advice from me [which is maybe unlike seryass-san]
I always get all the ferro and lame because in 2nd and 3rd [if i remember right] you'll get the magic item from the shop to reduce the practice time when you can find an amount of fairies. When i have free time left, i ring all the bell and practice all of them at least once. Because when you can play the song even you don't master it, you'll be able to play the song with other people to get bravo points. I reccomend this to collect bravo points for 4th selection. In the town, there're many people and music class student. If you can play more song, it's easy to perform the quartet. And because there're many people, you can gain thousands of bravo points with one performance. This trick can use for 3rd selection too. The place i reccomend is a hall but you won't get bp as much as in the town.

One more way to get effection from the boys is going the way home with them.
I always talk to the boys whenever i find them. But when the time is less than 10 minutes left [10 minutes before 18.00], it's a good chance to go to talk to the target you're aiming. Sometimes he'll offer to escort you home or sometimes you can choose to ask him to go the way home with you or not. At first, they'll go with you about half the way and they'll go straight to their home.[except Yunoki-senpai because he has that luxurious car... - -+] But when they fall in love with you, they'll walk you home. And sometime they'll ask you to go home with them everyday. Moreover, they'll ask you to allow them to come to pick you up every morning.

I also recommend like seryass-san said not to concentrate too much on the skills. If you don't have the skill, buying is a good way. Especially in the 3rd and 4 th selection that you maybe have some bp and have a way to gain bp. For me, the school park is a good place to gain bp but you don't have to be hurry. Run around the park and look at the map, you'll spot a place that students start to gather.
And just like what i've said
4. If you're still not good at the arrangement, play the song to normal class students. But if you play the arrangement well, play to the music class students. They will give more bravo points with good performance.
And the song that can be over 100 is the very good way to collect bp.

The songs for 3rd and 4th can be divided in to two [i think ^^"]
The first raw is skill-major and the second one is level-major. I think both of them are ok for the selection.[but don't forget to look at keywords~!] It depends on what style you play. I always play the second line's songs, so i use most of bp on practice items.

Well... it seems that i'm consumerism, using most of bp to get over the obstacle~ ^^"

Hello there!

I must say... I'm really happy I found this forum. I've recently gotten the game but problem is, I can't read a single word of Japanese. (I can read the Chinese though!)

I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong with Kazuki's part since I can't seem to get his perfect ending. -Despite having 1000 affection and rivalry points.

Could someone briefly guide me through? Is there supposedly a pattern that I must follow in order to get his perfect ending?

For some strange reason, I've gotten Len's perfect ending... and I wasn't even trying. <<; I just wanted to see how he looks like when he is in love.

Many thanks in advance.

you mean you were going for Kazuki but you ended up getting Len? o.O

If that is the case, it was because Len is the default character of Corda, so his ending will always come first. I had a few times too when I was going after Yunoki and Tsukimori at the same time, Tsuchiura/Tsukimori, Kazuki/Tsukimori, I had 1000 in both, but the ending always went towards Tsukimori. That's when I realised, because Tsukimori is the default main guy, so the route will always go to him. Unless your Tsukimori is going towards the 街へ出よう ending. (high intimacy low rivalry)

It could also be because each character has certain events that you must accomplish in order to have an ending. So even if you have 1000 for both rivalry and intimacy, if you didnt accomplish those events, you will not have the ending.

There are 4 stages you must accomplish:
Level 1 where some event will happen when you talk to the guy you are going after, intimacy during this period is usually between 50~200
Level 2 events happen between 200~500
Level 3 events between 500~800
Level 4 events (where he confesses) intimacy must be above 850 (I think)

Tonight I started the third selection and it is really challenging! It took me four days to find all the ferries and bells because I couldn't find one last manuscript (that park area seems huge)! I know this may be a weird question, but I thought I read somewhere else that you have to perform 2 songs in the 3rd and 4th selection because there is double songs. Is this correct? I was just wondering because it seems impossible to master 2 songs... (I haven't gotten to the end of selection 3 yet...)

Also I'm still a bit confused about buying skills. Is it the skill book I need to buy or the magical lupe and miracle scope so I can max out the manuscripts and gain skills? I thought I bought the right items, but my skills have been improving really slowly for some reason and when I play, the piece still doesn't sound the best even if I have both keywords.

Thank you again everyone for all your advice! It's really helping me out and I'm enjoying the game a lot. Can't wait for the weekend so I can stay up all night to play since I can sleep in the next morning! :D

hmm...no, you only have to perform one song. So generally like you said, starting from selection 3, it is getting harder and harder (putting aside the fact that your magical violin will die to make it harder)

Just concentrate on one song, depending on the pieces you chose for selection 1 and 2, you should try to find a song that contains 2 keywords but still closest to the skills you have.

Also I'm still a bit confused about buying skills. Is it the skill book I need to buy or the magical lupe and miracle scope so I can max out the manuscripts and gain skills? I thought I bought the right items, but my skills have been improving really slowly for some reason and when I play, the piece still doesn't sound the best even if I have both keywords.

skill books are only for certain skills needed (eg, テヌート. Or デタシェ) it does not raise the level of your skills. So in order to play the manuscripts starting from selection 3, you are required to have certain skill levels to be able to practice the manuscript.

Make sure you goto Lili after finding the fairies to get presents from him. He will give you this gift that allows you to practice 2 manuscripts in one go. Use the leather armlet to increase your skills by 1.5 time while you do the manuscript practice. Yes you dont need to perfect all the manuscripts to 100 but you will need to practice all the manuscripts to 20 in order to find Laame.

So now I think about it...it is a MOST DIFFICULT game....;_;

Although Neo Romance likes to make difficult games for us, but thats what makes it fun~

you mean you were going for Kazuki but you ended up getting Len?

Yeah. xD; And thank you for replying!

Oh I see... I guess I'll leave Len alone from now on then.

So basically, in order to get all those events, I should talk to Kazuki every day? (But despite doing so, I can't seem to get all the events listed in the Japanese guide) I do realize that certain events happen only in different places too, so does that mean I should explore each map every day as well?

Also, when I started the game from scratch, I noticed that Kazuki has two different events in the beginning.
- One is where he sees the fairy.
- Another is when you bump into him for the first time and he calls Yunoki over.

Does it really matter where you start off?

And I suppose, it does matter what you say to him too. p:

If only I could read a tiny bit of Japanese... I think I've played his part four times now. Hehe.

Edit: Alright. My fourth try turned out to be a success. Wee.

Hm. What exactly does Kazuki say? oO Do the characters actually, really, confess?

there are more than 2 ways of meeting the characters for the first time. It depends on the answer you give when Lili first asks you the questions.
Posted Image

so your answer will then add extra +12 to the rivalry compare to the normal +10 on intimacy when you meet for the first time.

In one round of the game, you wont get all the events, because it was designed that way to make you play them again to get different stills.
So far I have collected all the stills except the one about Tsuchiura's ex girlfriend. I just cant get that event no matter how I hard I try.

and yes, they confess....>w<

I played Selection 3 and I was actually able to win it! Yay! However I have a few questions again.

1.) During selection 2, when I played my song around people and then performed, the little lights that twinkle when you play turned to be big yellow circles of light. I don't know how I did it, but I had lots of BP everytime I pefromed and the music sounded really good. However, when I did selection 3, I think I got all the skills, keywords, and maxed out all the manuscripts, it didn't happen... I just got the small pink, blue flashes of light like usual. I still won the competition, but I didn't get as many bravos as the other time. I'm trying to figure what I did differently....

2.) Also, I have a question about the manuscripts... For example, in selection one, there is Ave Maria A and B. If I decide to use Ave Maria A for my performance, do I also have to master B because it is part of the song (meaning get the keywords for B and get the 上達 to 100 too?)

3.) If I play a song where there is a necessary skill, but I already have that skill from another piece I performed in a previous selection, does it still need to reach a certain level? For example, in the third round, I played Yasashii Ai no Uta A (first green selection). I already had the skills, (Position L and Position H) from another previous piece, but the skill level was at 4. Do I need to make these at a higher level too? Or once you have them, it doesn't matter anymore...

Sorry if all my questions are confusing... This is really a tough game like you said, but probably one of the most fun games I've played in awhile. I definitely want to buy number 2 when it comes out!

It's OK about all the questions. I found the game confusing at first too. In answer to your questions:

1.) I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. Are you talking about when you are performing to people with the red circle and getting the BP or do you mean the actual performance of the selection where you perform to the audience? I can't recall getting lights like that when performing with the red circle but then I've been playing the PC version and I seem to recall you mentioning that you are playing the PS2 version so I can only imagine they have changed parts of the game.

However if you are referring to the actual performance of the selection as I can recall getting the lights for that then it's most likely because it's not the "Super" song that you are performing. Each selection has a song which is regarded as "Super". If you perform that you will get a good reception and will get the lights bigger. However this does not always guarantee a win for the selection as various events can stop this (as described in my long post above which I apologize for being so long ^_^; )

2.) It isn't necessary and is extremely hard to do for the first two selections so "Bravo" for accomplishing that (sorry I couldn't resist using the obvious pun there). Seriously though it is extremely hard to do for the first two selections and you should give yourself a pat on the back for accomplishing it (I've only ever done it once and found it very difficult).
I think you might be mixing up the manuscripts and musical arrangement. Getting the keywords is when you perform the musical arrangement (with the red circle). The manuscripts are when you keep using the "Practice" button. It's the manuscripts that are the main concern and should be raised to 100 not the musical arrangement.

However the third and fourth selections are different. It's been mentioned that it isn't necessary for the third selection either but I always try to master all the manuscripts for the song. For the fourth selection however it's highly recommended you master all the manuscripts to 100). It helps greatly. I must stress that you won't be able to raise all the musical arrangements to either 100 (or if you had a dream of the song to 150) so just choose the song that matches the theme and perform that. Another thing to bear in mind as kaho-san mentions in the first post is that EVERY song in the fourth selection only has 1 keyword (there are no choices like the other selections have) so just choose the song, master the musical arrangement for that song and master all the manuscripts for that song to 100). As an example (for the fourth selection not the third):

You choose the song "la Campanella" A to master.
If you have been ignoring the skills like both wasseryharp-san and I suggest you will probably need to buy the skill you don't have for it. Once you have the skill keep performing the musical arrangement of it (with the red circle) until it gets near to 100. Then it is essential that you start practicing all the manuscripts for "la Campanella" (this means all of them from A - C) and getting them all to 100. Items will greatly help here so buy some if you have the BP to do so as your time limit is extremely limited. 11 days might seem like a lot of days but take it from me you will be wasting about 4 of them trying to find all the Ferros and Lames because yet another place is added for them to be in. As mentioned in my post do not waste precious time using the bell icon for the other songs. If you manage to do this you stand a good chance to win the selection but other factors can stop you (especially if the ending for the boy you are going after is focused on rivalry rather than affection).

3.) The skills are irrelevant once you have them. The two problems you will most likely run into for the following selection are:

a) You don't actually have one of the skills for the song you are trying to perform meaning you will most likely have to buy it since it's to time consuming to actually learn it or:
b) Your parameter skill isn't high enough to perform the song (by parameter skill I mean either your Elegance skill (the green kanji), your Cheerfulness skill (the red kanji) or your Sadness skill (the blue kanji).

The fourth selection is very hard (though I tend to find the first selection the toughest) but there are ways to beat it. There is one event that can help you but I won't say what in case you don't want the game to be spoiled. I only found it out by accident.

I am enjoying the game very much too. I've actually won most of the characters now (except for the girls though my brother says he is interested in going for them ^^; if he could only understand the game - I tried to tell him but it went over his head so he gave it up as a bad job) though the endings I got differ. I got the date endings for Tsuchiura Ryotaro, Ousaki Shinobu and Kanazawa Hiroto but I got the best endings for Hihara Kazuki, Shimizu Keiichi and Yunoki Azuma (which surprised me as I thought for sure I was going to get his date ending). The only character I have yet to go after is Tsukimori Len as I thought he would be the hardest. Usually in games I go for my favorite character last (I go by the "save the best for last rule") but not in Corda's case.

Corda 2 does look very good but I can't play it as my PS2 doesn't play imports. Do you actually own a Japanese PS2 or are you using some method to play the import games?

Thanks for your advice. I took a screen cap from my TV and when I was performing around people (red circle), I did get those bright lights instead of the small one.

The theme was Ai Subeki Mono and I played Romansu A song. I think I may have gotten a dream too for this song and of all of the selections, it had the highest in 彩華, so does that mean I chose the "Super" song? In the first and third selection, I played a song to match the theme, but I never got these bright lights anymore. I noticed that when I won the competition for this song, my points went over a thousand.

I am enjoying the game very much too. Do you have to win every selection in order to get the best ending for they guy you are after? During my game, I am trying to go after Ousaki Shinobu, but some how my parameter for Hihara got higher. I'm not sure how that happened... He's like almost at the top of the pyramid while Ousaki is like still at the bottom.

Corda 2 does look very good but I can't play it as my PS2 doesn't play imports. Do you actually own a Japanese PS2 or are you using some method to play the import games?

I have PS2 Japanese version. I bought a few years ago when someone told me about Tokimeki Memorial Girls Side and thought it would be an interesting game and a great way to study Japanese. After playing that game, I've been hooked every since!

Thanks again for your helpful suggestions! I've been printing everyone's tips out and using them when I play the game!

Yes it does look like you played the Super song though I must confess I've been playing the PC version and as far as I can remember I have never had bright lights like that. Here's how you know for certain if it was the Super you played though:

When you actually performed Romansu A in the selection and it came to your turn was there a sort of red glow above you? If there was then you definetely played the Super song.

Do you have to win every selection in order to get the best ending for they guy you are after? During my game, I am trying to go after Ousaki Shinobu, but some how my parameter for Hihara got higher. They will get higher on the pyramid because the five main guys all have rivalry points as well as affection but Kanazawa-sensei and Ousaki Shinobu don't have the rivalry points. What should happen is Ousaki Shinobu should actually move to the far right side and stay there for his date ending. I haven't got his best ending yet. To get his best ending there is a crucial choice that pops up. There are two choices (one leads to his date ending, the other to his best ending). The same applies to Kanazawa-sensei as well.

The same happened to me as well (but it was Tsuchiura that was at the top of the pyramid virtually for me). As long as you have kept performing to Ousaki and his affection is more than Hihara's you should still get his ending.

No you don't have to win all the selections to get the best ending (this especially applies to the five main guys). When I was going after Yunoki-senpai I came second in the first selection and first for the rest. Likewise when I went after Shimizu I came first for the first three selections but second for the last (since he performed his Super song). As long as you win the overall contest you will get the best ending for the character you are after providing of course you are on that character's best ending path and not the date ending (again like Ousaki and Kanazawa-sensei each of the characters has two different paths).

Your welcome with regards to the help. I'm glad to know I've been of some help. I do already have a PS2 but cannot get it mod chipped since mod chips have been banned where I live. I keep hearing about this Swap Magic disc which everyone gives good reviews about but I want to find out about it before I get it.

Regardless though I actually do have both Tokimeki Memorial Girls Sides, Fushigi Yuugi, Kiniro no Corda and Angelique Trois for the PS2 as I do plan on playing them sometime. ^^;

Yes, there wasn't a red glow, more like a white glow around my whole body, but I'm playin the PS2 version so maybe the changed the graphics. I also think its because I got to 150 because of the dream I got. How do you usually get those dreams? Once I got to selection 3 and 4, I didn't even get those dreams about the guys anymore.

They will get higher on the pyramid because the five main guys all have rivalry points as well as affection but Kanazawa-sensei and Ousaki Shinobu don't have the rivalry points. I finally played the game to the end yesterday night! I started from the beginning and won the first three competitons, but got second in the last one. But I won the whole competition at the end. I went after Tsukimori Len, but I don't think I got the best ending. There didn't seem like a confession or a kiss or anything. He ran up the stairway and said some stuff and asked me to play a song again (I think). Then I got a still of him looking out on the balcony. I'm not sure what happened, but my romance pts were over 1000, but my rivarly points were only 468, so it may have been too low? I also on got about four stills on him throughout the game. Maybe I'll try again for a different character...

You get the dreams by talking to the guys. I think it mentions on the guide how to get them. On the PC version (you'll have to let me know if you get this on the PS2) sometimes when you talk to a guy you will just get text, sometimes you get a CG and sometimes you get their profile picture whilst talking to them. Usually (not always) when you get the profile picture you will get a dream.

I finally played the game to the end yesterday night! I started from the beginning and won the first three competitons, but got second in the last one. But I won the whole competition at the end. Actually I am about to go for Tsukimori now as he is the only character I haven't got an ending for (excluding the girls but my brother actually managed to play through the game and win them himself). I deliberately left Tsukimori last since I guessed he would be extremely difficult.

That does sound like you definetely got the date ending (look in the CG gallery if it says 街へ出よう then you got his date ending. If it's 珠玉の時間 then you got the best ending). Usually the best ending is when they play their instrument with you.

Remember as I said in my above post you can technically get both Tsukimori's affection and rivalry to 1000 but that doesn't mean you will get his best ending. It depends if you are on his date ending or best ending path AND whether you have seen all the necessary events for that ending (this is actually a good reason for you to talk to the guy you are after at least once each day - I actually tend to do it 2-3 times).

I would definetely try for one of the other four main guys first so you can get a feel for the game and how best to win it (Shimizu Keiichi and Yunoki Azuma are two of the easiest to win since their rivalry increases quickly since you can easily get the skills and BP to raise their corresponding rivalry points respectively).

I have a question too...

since I have played this game numerous times, there is one event no matter how hard I tried I could never get. Just wondering if anyone else got this event?

Its the one about Tsuchiura's ex-girlfriend

stupid game will never give me that event! >(
