Hi everyone!

I'm trying to find some games to buy next, and to build an "I want" list. I have a PSP right now although I think in a few months I might go ahead and get a DS.

I'm looking through the PSP games and trying to find games that are more like TMGS with the stat building. It's sometimes hard to tell just looking through D3 and similar sites if it's virtual novel or if there's some interaction.

I'm totally new to otome games, so wanted to check on anyone that might have a favorite to share? I prefer voiced or at least partially voiced games.

I'll be browsing the forums, but I think I want to try to catch some of the back log games before they might be harder to obtain. All of the websites seem to show off the new games that just came out or aren't available yet. (Although I have been looking closely at Confidential Money!)

Hello there ^^

The first title that came to my mind matching your requirements was Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!!, though the PSP version have an incredibly slow load time to the point you want to take a nap while it does its own things. But it's the only other heavy stat rising game I can think of.

For lesser one, well there is a lot of choice. Kiniro no Corda, Kanuchi, Hanayaka Nari Waga Ichizoku are between my favourites.
If we move to 'any interaction as long as it's not straight VN' then the list becomes way too long XD

And for your interest, Confidential Money will be a straight VN ^^;

Thanks for the recommends! I'll put them on the list to get. That's too bad about Confidential Money. It still looks good but for some reason I thought I saw some stat things to it. (Probably my own bad translation from Japanese!)

I might have to go ahead and grab a DS to get the other ones. :) I know there's a few coming out to PSP but looking over everything, it looks like the backlog is mostly DS games.

Love Revo was also the first one I thought of. You can also try Real Rode which is a bit of RPG plus stat building but it is not that hard and guides are already out if play with guides.

Brothers conflict is like a simpler version of TMGS but it loads very very slowly and the skip button is really really slow.

And a bit of rhythm/music game is the Uta no Prince-sama series, which has an anime adaptation.

...and life is all about choices...

Uta no Prince-sama looks neat! Could start with those. :) I'll probably end up with Brothers Conflict,too, anyway. Also looking at Last Escort. Hate to play it out of sync as I haven't played the first two, but I like the idea of the gift making to impress the guys. Even if they are host club guys. :)

Thanks for the tips! All of these give me at least a starting point. I do want to work around to virtual novels. I do like the ones with plenty of options, but I have a couple now I haven't finished and wouldn't mind the faster pace of a game-otome-game. :)

I'm a bit new to otome games as well and I'd love to get some nice ones for the PSP. I kind of like games with a lot of S type characters or that type of story tone to it. If there's some with gameplay elements, like something RPG-like, that'd be great too... Also I prefer the newest version for whatever game it is. Sometimes it's a bit confusing looking for the latest versions of games when a series gets very popular...
