RELEASE DATE IS FEBRUARY 24TH (TENTATIVE)

So, they are going to make Haruka5 on PSP and they will skip to the Bakumatsu age go fight Hakuoki and win please. Details should be in the next Lala (releasing on Sept 24th).

I really hope this isn't the new game that will have the new cast they will pimp at the next live event COME ON, WE ALL WANT MIKISHIN AS HIJIKATA AGAIN

I'm happy that I'm seeing the seiyuu that I like in the new game but but I STILL LOVE THE OLD HARUKA CAST T^T
Anyway, I'm hoping that this time they learnt their lesson about the plot I heard H4 was lol some disaster and Corda3 lol the writers are like closet POT fans

Definitely won't be buying it unless the previous cast is also in it, as some blogs rumored that the old cast will have 'cameo' appearances. (Like HIhara and Etou in Corda 3?)

And sorry but I would rather have seen this new cast ON A WHOLE NEW SERIES. Sorry, but I want the originals back even considering the new characters look too much alike the old ones anyway so I'll keep imagine the old cast with them anyway. I mean, I can see huh Hinoe, Oshihito, Ashvin, Hiiragi, Takamichi with H2 twin, and oh Chihiro turned man. And well I can sort of see Shimon as well.

That being said, I know I'll get this anyway, I know myself too well ahahahah

I guess when they merged with Tecmo, they had to budget their otome games more, and so we suffer!!! Stupid merge! I had a feeling when it happened, something terrible would happen to our games and....it has!!!! :cries:

Litewolf-san, I agree! Why couldn't they just have a 'Neo Haruka' (Like 'Neo Angelique' was to 'Angelique') That would've been bad enough, but to just REPLACE our beloved seiyuu in THEIR roles!!

I'm going to give koei the benefit of the doubt because they've consistently gave me plots/characters i enjoy even though sometimes i didn't like the character design. AND I TOTALLY HOPING THEY'D DO THE SENGOKU ERA INSTEAD BUT BAWWW I bet they're trying to go into the shinsengumi boom with Hakuouki and whatever else but hey looking on the bright side, at least i get Suwabe in this game even though I'll miss the old cast like whoa. definitely going to buy it for premium box like the koei sucker that i am 8'(

also is the miko actually going to be voiced this time you think?

Honestly though I'm getting kind of tired of it (since it really did have a lot of pull in the beginning.) It's not like with the vampire craze where I could just sit back and make fun of it. >.<

(Btw why does the bg look so sci-fi in those intro-screens? LOL I totally thought this was going to be set in some random future alternate-dimension when I first saw it. And the colours! So saturated and gundam-y! )

It is not like I don't think it's a good thing that KOEI is moving on to new seiyuu. BUT, knowing it's KOEI, I have a really mix feeling. Plus, I like the original cast too much. & seriously, knowing it's KOEI, I really doubt it's gonna be full voice (or it will remake the game several times, if it ever get the fame to, until it will be full voice). I'm personally not that much looking forward to it. I guess I finally realize that the less hope I put into the KOEI, the less disappointed I'll be.

well,, for me individually, i like the new cast,,,~~~ most of them are my fave xDDD
and i like their concept using female seiyuu,, SAIGA-SAMA,,, <3333333
actually all of the seiyuu they using right now was famous already to attract new customer, *grin*
and the design looks a lot better that the previous game,,, though i don't think it's THAT ORIGINAL *grin* i still can imagine how the old chara resemble them,,

and i see Mikako-chan there o.O wait, did she become one of the hachiyou or she became the main chara?? since sometimes she voiced shota too
but i didn't see her chara on that famitsu page~~~
so is it KOEI has used their NEW sense, and give the heroine some voice o.O
if it YES, i will love KOEI so much,, xDDDD though the possibility is small,, maybe ~_~

@Chie the heroine in the Haruka series has always been voiced. She was voiced by Kawakami Tomoko. I think Takahashi Mikako's character, Hasumi Yuki, is the the new heroine.

yes the heroine is voiced, like Nozomi and Chihiro make those sounds when they're executing a stroke. And that's all I can remember of the miko being voiced apart from in the anime.
But in a way, it'd be odd if the heroine were voiced. Because there's no way you'd be able to imagine that's you anymore. Knowing koei and their cheapskate ways, the chance they'll pay more than they have to is like 0.00000000001% XD iirc, the PS2 otome games(regardless of company) I've played have never had the heroine's lines voiced? The only games which had the female lead voiced were like... UTM and ijiwaru
